Mine are holding up OK, I figure I'll do something when they break. Probably RE axles for me.

wheel hop is the biggest killer but if you can stay away from it they may last awhile. If I were you I would replace them before you break them which just turns into a big headache. I replaced mine along with the driveshaft this year

My cousin brought me a screw driver that was .25 to bang out from the other side. It wasn’t skinny enough. So we have one more idea to fit through there we are trying tomorrow if that doesn’t work we are probably pulling it out from the side that broke.

Thanks for the reply back for him , I think if that piece of axle is cocked sideways in the diff ?...that's not good, axle slides straight in & does not articulate like that.

I always said I’ll replace the axle when it breaks. Little did I know they break in side the diff as the weak point.
crazy thing was wheel hop didn’t happen till 25 mph and I was running 20psi wheel pressure

I’m currently in the garage putting interior back together and cleaning up. I need my shop for more space. I don’t have enough room. Hoping next year.

I’ll get it out one way or another. I didn’t do anything to it during the week. My cousin works seconds and I will be waiting for him if we thread a bolt in to pull or anything f welding is involved I may get a friend who is better than me.

I hate to say it but if that piece is in there sideways (haven't heard you confirm that) it's time to drop the diff & replace.

It doesn't look side ways but I really won't know the damage done or not done until it is out
