On a serious note....

Check out Modern Muscle Extreme, they usually have axles on sale, and have some Demon parts most of the time.

I haven't looked at their site in awhile.

Over time I have come to believe that locking down the cradle is the number one thing to do (along with the diff braces) to prevent driveline and traction problems.
I have not locked the cradle. Maybe that’ll be a good step.

Wouldn’t the right side axle still turn if the left axle was broke?
No. The design of the LSD is such that it needs load on both sides to engage.

Think about the mechanics. The rear wheels basically connect to the car through the cradle. When the tires hook and drive the car forward, that movement is first done through the cradle. If the cradle moves forward, that shortens the distance between the differential and the transmission. The driveshaft in these cars do not use a slip yoke so there is no allowance for that. That forward driving force is now the driveshaft pushing into the transmission. Add wheel hop to that and it’s like taking a Jack hammer to your entire driveline (including your transmission) 😬. DSS has recently stated that they will not warranty their driveshafts unless the cradle is locked out. Food for thought 😐

Just buy a new car, buy a American Muscle mag, purchase everything in it, have it installed, get a divorce, and be happy. Book #4 chapter #3.

One thing I just thought of.
Could you shut the car off with the button in the dash?
I ask because if the trans is free to move,
IE- a broken drive shaft, it will not shut off.
Pressing the brake will not stop the trans from turning so the car will not let you turn it off. You would need to pull a fuse for the pump.
So if it shuts off and what MarcW said about needing both sides loaded to engage.
Then the axle is the more likely culprit or diff
The trans being the issue becomes WAY less likely. As the car would likely not shut off normally if it was the trans.

Ok I’m sitting in the car to check driveshaft. It was spinning. But when I put the car in park I could not shut the car off. It said put vehicle in park to shut off

No one caliper is off
That's what I saw in the pic. You have to be able to stop the driveline in order to shut it off. On the ground as long as the car is stopped and the DS isn't turning you can shut off.
If you pushed the brake pedal make sure the pistons in the caliper that is off are still in.

The reason the driveline has to be stopped is so you can put it in park. The car will only shut off in park.

Sorry about the typo. Correction made.🤦🤣🤣

^^ yeah, don’t touch the brakes anymore, you’ll f-up the caliper that’s off of the car. Or stick a block of wood in it.
