Really not to stressed. Not happy because I think with better prep it could be avoided. If it ends up being trans related I won't be happy. Because that means I'll either not build a shop next year or end up selling the bike.
I will say I am pretty positive the driver side axle is bad. The chances of something else who knows
Yeah, I reallllllly doubt it's the trans, Hopefully just a axle, worse case the diff.

If it was wheel hopping that's when axles & diffs can let go, normally not a trans.

We're about to change out another diff & fuel pump in B Mason's HC, it was single tracking on burnout & had low fuel pump pressure last time at the track & it still ran a 10.38, lol.

I was really wanting to go with more boost by next spring. I’m starting to rethink the decision of going any faster.

Yeah, we did a 3.09 originally 2.5 years ago & now it's single tracking.

How much boost ?... that will determine what axle you may want.

Hopefully it’s just a axle. You should check and make sure it’s not the trans though before you invest the time pulling axles. That’s easy up on the Jack stands. If you are going to be launching at the drag strip, there are wheel hop precautions you need to consider. Wheel hop will kill a lot more than just a axle.

Wouldn’t the right side axle still turn if the left axle was broke?

I did the AAD kit back in may. I was hoping that’d fix the hop. It made it better. But the track prep has been horrible the last 2 weeks

Unknown 😂 I am just going to go with it. I thought about doing a lower. Or a different upper. Maybe a 2.6 upper.

I hear the flux capacitor doesn't work most of the time so they have bigger issues

Track prep is 1 thing we have no control over, just hope for the best.

But but, no traction problems or wheel hop.

Over time I have come to believe that locking down the cradle is the number one thing to do (along with the diff braces) to prevent driveline and traction problems.
