Yes, sea level, not so bad in summer, but as soon as it cools, it's like driving on ice. Was out today, probably last drive this year, cleaned and covered it. With the P0AS 275's, I need to be gentle on the throttle all the time. The slightest push breaks them loose. Not such a bad thing!
These cars are so much GD fun!!!! If I won the lotto, I might buy a Plaid to ring it out, but then I'd be done. Hell, I've been thinking about doing that anyway! But even if I won lotto, the BMW would still not be on the radar.
I don't drive fast, I am a careful old man. I NEVER test the limits in a corner, had enough of that decades ago. A fast Porsche or BMW would do nothing for me. BTW: When I was young, I DREAMED about owning a 911, but when I was able, I bought a Vette instead.
In the HC, every time I have a straight clear field in front, I lean on it, and it gives me everything I ever dreamed of. It is almost a joke to have such excess power. I do not see the same satisfaction coming from a BMW or Porsche, even it it is faster on the street, I am thrilled with what I have and barring a lotto, will not change!
