Wife told me she saw her niece and boyfriend today who brought the niece’s Toyota to the dealer, a/c hasn’t worked in a year and was fearful of the repair bill. Wife asked me what would it cost? I said it could be a $10 belt, or maybe a $25 charge kit from WM, bunch of other low-moderate cost stuff. And it could be something big and cost $1500.

Later the wife found out it was a belt and said it was good it was only $10. I said the dealer will charge $35 for the belt and $100 for labor and shop fees. I made a comment about college educated youth’s these days don’t know how to look under the hood for something broken like a belt hanging by a thread? I said, “Lemmie’ guess, they are voting for Commiela”, wife said “Oh YES!”.

2 yrs....my brother in law...was the Director of the Pennsylvania Ballet co....he tutored wide receivers for the Philadelphia Eagles for years...a couple of his notable players that he worked with...Lynn Swann of the Steelers..and Jerry Rice of the 49 er's...yep Ballet...(without the tights)...think you have balance...no you don't

He also Performed @ the White House for 2 sitting presidents..and was on the Ed Sullivan show..(black and white TV)...yeah he's old now...81

No surprise really, from the get-go this crew made it clear they really only wanted Ram & Jeep. Now Chrysler is down to a minivan & Dodge has the Durango (for 1 more year) and the Whorenut no one wants. Is an EV Charger really enough to save those brands - unlikely ! What puzzles me is they seem to have forsaken Ram & Jeep to a certain degree and that was the segment of the business they seemed to truly want.

I suspect that Dodge & Chrysler will soon join Plymouth, even if some other company had an interest in them, it would be almost impossible to sever the ties/sharing at the plant level.

I have a hard time thinking that the Charger will beat the Plaid, it also does 9.1 in the 1/4. What were they thinking.... Or drinking....

Agree, not sure just who they thought would buy the thing? Us diehard, old school muscle guys made it pretty clear we weren't real interested from the get-go. Did they think the Tesla crowd would be wow'd ? I'd bet most of them wouldn't be caught dead driving a Dodge.

Will be interesting to see how sales go when (if?) it's released and what reliability ends up being. Given their QC issues lately with stuff they have produced for a decade or more, I'd bet real $$ quality is going to be a huge issue !

You can't fire all your American engineers and use cheaper components to save a couple bucks on these overpriced vehicles. They did all this, still raised vehicle prices, and priced out the loyal customer who now have to deal with more glitches and higher cost than they did just a couple years ago. Great recipe for success
