Amazon lists the shipping weights fo the following +/-28" tall tires as:
28x10.5x17 Hoosiers at 25lbs
28x11.5-17LT Hoosier QTPs at 23lbs (est)
28x14.5-17LT Hoosier QTPs (the widebody jam) at 25lbs (est)
325/45R17 M&Hs at 34lbs
305/45R17 M/Ts at 31lbs
345/40R17 Toyo TQs at 34lbs
Keeping in mind that each tire is dimensionally and structurally different across a range of factors (including approved wheel width). The application of each tire is across a spectrum too: full drag to street drag radial with actual useable tread depth. This is obviously application specific. The other thing is personal launch technique (learning your car and tire), and suspension adjustments (stock to modified) and how hard it hits (converter vs clutch).
I am putting the 325/45R17 M&Hs on my stick HC this year (because I have them) - but the Hoosiers look tasty (especially for the money), and run the 345/40R17 Toyo TQs on my station wagon which has a best 60' of 1.7 - despite having half the power of a HC.
