Greeting all, Magnified here (evidently I am still alive, amazingly enough):

Looking at buying a 2020 Black Challenger Red Eye (narrow body) out of Colorado Springs. Less than 7000 miles, looks in great shape, but has had three owners. First kept it 1.75 years, sold in Golden, CO, but registered in Arkansas. Second, kept it about a hear and half (also in Arkansas). Shows back up in Colorado Springs, and is bought a few months back, kept for just a few months and traded back in (as far as I can tell - it went back to the same dealership that sold it). Anyone know anything about this car? I'm in Texas so I can't just drop by the dealership and check it out. Thanks for any information you can provide.

This is the entire point of the exercise, if there's not someone who has seen the car in Arkansas at the track or what have you. The 6 week turn around to the dealer gives me pause, though otherwise the car looks pretty good. Also - I am swamped but mean to make a more detailed reply to the all the messages later tonight or tomorrow.

I pulled the Carfax indepently and was told that doesn't get reported to the dealer (but they may not know what they're talking about), over just such concerns.

They sure do. I'm looking at taking mine out and make room for a spare tire.

When driving the 'Cat I don't hear the stereo anyway, if it's even on. Too much else going on.

Correct - but it was an Audi RS3 build by Hank Iroz (AWD running 9.6 at 149). But ran into the same problem I have this time - we have no access to high ethanol fuel out here, despite all the refineries and producing 50 million barrels from wells in the county. Race modified Hellcats are probably out of the picture for me at this time - don't trust the fuel (only source is 45 miles away one way and the testing shows the quality and consistency varies too much). And the nearest drag strip is now 75 miles away one way (hence my no-prep street racing history).

Wow...Not sure what reserve was..but would bet 62 aint even close...
