I received in today a spare Mopar AC compressor, look at pressures listed on the tag. That’s some high pressures!!

Jumped the gun and started ripping car apart before I had it evacuated. So it’s all installed and plumbed coolant wise, and now that 3 way salve is wired up should be fine to drive to shop. Also a good test to make sure nothing in the water side leaks. Hoping for AC lines to go smoothly

What hose did you use on that Maddox coolant refill tool? Never put a hose on that end for evacuation.
Real stretchy 3/4 gates hose just taped, didn’t need to though, it didn’t spit out any fluid. That vent unscrews and you can screw in a fitting for a hose - might do that one day

Ac lines are very straight forward and easy to do, took a few hours screwing around. Make sure you index everything with a marker, take it off, and then tighten the cnc fittings to the screw on hoses - makes life easier, and less chance of it coming loose. I used some left over pag oil to lubricator washers and o rings. The biggest feat is the plumbing for the 3 way valve. It’s a pain, but I can confirm it does keep the IATs and car just as cool as if it wasn’t inline when flowing through the heat exchanger. Big test is when I get it recharged 🤞🤞🤞🥶🥶

Also not a bad idea to mark your hose, cut, and crimp outside of the car - very easy to route the AC lines fully assembled

If you have a switch go bad let me know I bought a 10pk of different colors off amazon. I had 1 go bad on me 3 months into using it.
Thanks man! Will do! I actually want to get custom billet switches but my cars not nice enough for that, heck it has a plywood rear seat delete 😅🤣

I’m more worried about all the coolant lines than all the AC lines (no leaks!) if a hose go bad, besides having it evacuated, it’s small potato’s to change them out. I feel like I could plumb this all up again in a day, hours if not using the bypass. A lot of time was spent trying to figure out all the plumbing
