don't go plastic unless you have the time to keep tightening them and chasing small drips.
Good info, thanks for the insight man

Welp, I need to get different fittings for the water lines into the brick. I received metal 90 degree fittings as opposed to the plastic ones I typically see with this kit, and they only want to thread in 1/4 of the way, stick down way too far, and will become too loose if I try to index them the way I need them. Anyone know where I can get plastic chemical/heat resistant plastic 90 degree 3/4 barb to npt fittings? They really need to put AN fittings on the brick.
Try McMaster, they usually have everything lol

They have the plastic fittings, but ones that are too long. Everywhere is out of the banjo plastic fittings that usually comes with the kit, of course. I found what I believe to be the right fitting to use on this, but they’re $75 a piece

Since no one ever has pictures of how they plumb everything/mock it up before install, here you go!!

mill be adding color to the hoses/direction and theory of operation after I mount chiller, soft mount fittings and take more picture. Have never seen any without the brick installed that shows full line plumbing. Yes, I left hoses long as this is for mock up. Let me know if there are any questions - this is based on ICs updated plumbing

Flow. Blue = cold, Red = hot (return from supercharger), Orange = heat exchanger

I used the double zip tie technique, I think that qualifies me as a mechanic 🤣

I think with the new plumbing the theory is that the pump is always pushing fluid into the chiller/chest exchanger instead of pulling from it. Not sure why, would be nice if someone had results of plumbing like this

Imo the 3 way bypass doesn’t do much at all because you’re still plumbed into 1 side of the heat exchanger

If anyone has any thoughts as to the theory of operation or suggestions on my plumbing I’m open to it
