Racing Brake (RB) rotors?

I installed a full set of Demon Performance rotors and pads on my 2018 last summer and I'm still kind of reeling from sticker shock a bit.
The rotors are mechanically fine, but the amount of rust that has formed on them is disappointing.

I recently stumbled upon this kit from Racing Brake and wonder if anyone here has experience with this product.

Personally, I like the black finish of these rotors, but I'd definitely like to know if they are inferior/superior/comparable to the Demon Performance (Girodisc) ones.

I would very much like to see a picture or two of those (the rust).

I'm developing some new rotors based on my own experience with DP rotors. While I had my own issues with DP rotors, rust was not one of them.

Our current design is based on an Inconel alloy, as such, they will not rust, they are also HALF of the weight, but if the DP rotors were expensive, you won't like ours any better... ; )

Perhaps heavy salt or Mag-Choride exposure?

As for your specific question about RB products, I don't, but I know others on the forum are using them, but I can't speak about their opinion.

The company RB is out of the UK. I bought my AP brakes thru them for my Golf R as well as some Ceika brakes for the rear. I believe they have CC for the Hawk as well. Anything RB makes or sells is gonna be top notch.

I would think they are bassically the same as the Girodisc. Demon doesnt make them Girodisc does they just slap their name on them as Demon Rotors.....

The hat can rust on the Demons but it easy to paint just block it off with tape and spray em.

The hat on DP rotors, and all that I'm aware of, are made of aluminum...

Aluminum doesn't rust...

(But it can oxidize, which typically appears as a white powder, but with anodizing, such as they are, this isn't likely)

Hate rusty rotors. Spent money on wilwoods and the rusted the first day. Sucks.

Rotors on the hellcat look good, little discoloration on the hats but that's about it.

This is what the rotors (front) looked like after I took them off recently to investigate some odd noise I was experiencing.
The hats are indeed aluminum, but whatever alloy/material the rotors are made from don't lend themselves well to rain which is what we get here in eastern WA.
The inner vanes look terrible as does the interface between the rotor and the hats.Soaking the rotors in white vinegar overnight allowed that surface rust to lift right off, and then I cleaned them using Dawn after I abraded the surface and installed new pads.

Some surface corrosion is inevitable on brake discs because that's just the nature of the iron/steel/mystery alloy, but for the price, I was hoping for a little better cosmetic durability with these things.
Note that the retaining bolt is the incorrect spec for these brakes: They were installed by the previous owner and I have since replaced them.

So like...how much for a pair for the front? I could put them to test under daily driver conditions.

Mine look that way to. They work just fine tho. Does the car sit a lot? Do u drive it often?

I have used these rotors for years. On and off track. Never had a rust problem. Like @BULL says we know of an issue or two but rust has never been one. What pads are you using? What is the red slop on the connector bolt?
