So what you guys are saying that my .500 reaction time is not that good .. and here i thought halt a second was good
@moparjim that ATI damper is worth the money .. it does a much better job at controlling vibrations VS the stock cast piece. I don't trust any stock damper .. I have seen way too many come apart or beat up bearings ,etc in the engine .
The removal of the sway bar cause traction issues .. The front jumps up really quickly then falls right back down just as fast unloading the rear tires .. I have seen this many times . If weight is the concern get the one from the demon that's what I did . 7 lbs VS 20lbs .

Sounds like you have data which is good. I felt the front end comes up better but sometimes it is in your mind. What you have seen makes sense. On a stock powered car l never spin the 305's M/Ts

I was looking at the lighter 1320 bar but the Chargers already come with a lighter one. With end links mine is 14 lbs and a 1320 may have been 10-12. I know it wasn't enough to go buy one. The Challengers are in the 20 lbs range though

Now some are aware of a way to adjust reaction times.😂
all in how you stage the car. I'm looking for good runs every pass but if you are looking for a light then move further. You may even have to deep stage

My reaction times are .2 - .3 but I shallow stage. I can roll in deeper and hit those great numbers.

I got this data from being at the track and watching the cars leave the line.. @oilburner and @DemonSRT were the 2 cars i was watching . I watched them over and over launch off the line . Oilburners( no swaybar) car would pick the front tires up then crash down and unload the tires and start spinning . He did it over and over while demonsrt's( with swaybar) car would raise the front end more gradually the keep it up before settling back down . I will see if there is any video .

I'm a believer in getting hardly any or no front lift while getting rear separation.

Exactly.. there should be no squat in the rear as it unloading the rear tires . The old super stock leaf spring use to lift the rear 3 inches. Lol . While the rear body was lifting up it was pushing the tires down into the ground . I don't think it works the same on a IRS car but you don't want squat . As the body is going down its pulling the tires up . The demon in drag mode stiffens the rear shocks to almost lock them using the tires as the pivot point .

I will say I plan on buying one of these high output inline 6 turbos for a daily at some point. Mostly for tuning purposes. But that's not what this is.

My experience is the opposite, I use to spin 50/50, removed the SB & it hooks 95/5 now depending on prep.

Nope I will find a way to run at the light because I'm stubborn.😂

Unfortunately my pinion snubber doesn't have the same effect on these cars.🤣
