The star shaped lugs? You can actually use a regular socket over those…

Also, 20lbs of unsprung weight is HUGE compared to sprung weight. That’s the equivalent of a passenger.
I think it's for every 1lb. of static weight equals 3lbs. of centrifugal weight, if I said that right.

I find installing the bottom lug nut first helps then I tighten them down slowly in steps.
The biggest issue I have is the lug nuts they use aren't necessarily drilled in the center. So an assortment is helpful. I wish the washers were better quality also.
I wonder why the seat for the washers in the rims aren't flat so they wouldn't destroy the washers so much.
Remember I install mine weekly pretty much. So mine are off and on more than most.
Yeah, the washers are a issue too.

Yes, the claims vary wildly from 1:3 to 1:30. I think it also depends on unsprung rotational and unsprung static.
For example, taking 1lb off of a knuckle is different than 1lb off of a wheel. Both of which are unsprung.
That’s a science for people smarter than me ;)

Its centrifugal. Weight removed father out from center helps more. That's why tires and wheels can make such a difference but lighten anything that spins and there are benefits.

What a fun day. My axles have come in. All I have done is edit small things from the trans tune I paid. I have really spent a ton of time researching these transmissions lately. I also got the hp tuners book in now. I think I have spent 2.5 hours today just 100% redoing my my trans tune and starting over from scratch. Still not done. To bad winter is approaching. Luckily for me they haven't salted around me yet so I got the car out today. Can't really do much tho because temps are in the 30s and she spins anytime you hit the gas.

Why do you need to tune the trans? Stock it shifts so good Are you just changing shift points? What is the max rpm’s shift point?

I haven’t redone the max rpm’s yet. But shift pressures and quickness are a big part of it. Also some torque management stuff.
You’d be surprised how a trans tune can change the overall performance and enjoyment of a car.
The first gear shift stock is really low. But I typically like all my shift points to be around 6500 with stock rods.

Tuning the transmissions in these things makes a HUGE difference in not only drivability but ET at the track as well.

O man! This new trans tune is amazing. I knew the trans tune had more left on the table. After one revision wow my shifts feel so much crisper, firmer and faster. I am going to make another revision and I expect the next revision to be my last revision. Spring cannot come fast enough. This car is going to pick time up just from this.
I did a complete rewrite of every table. I even made some of the tq management tables safer than the previous tuner.

Well we found out sooner than expected so we did a last minute reveal. We didn't think many would be able to show up with only a two day notice and it almost being Christmas but we had around 40 people.
You can hear a friend of mine at the end saying "Jon's goingt o be detailing his exhaust for 2 weeks" :ROFLMAO:
It was supposed to be a a burnout but we had snow on the roads. Didn't expect so much snow today so we improvised.

I've looked all over. For those running a 2.6 pulley and stock lower is there a belt I can use or do I need a tensioner?

Pretty productive day. Thanks @vortecd for the help all day. We got his stock axle taken out he let me borrow after I broke mine. We then put the new gforce outlaws in. We then move to the front of the car and drilled a hole and pinned the crank. All in a good days fun. We were curious what the new bolt torque was after the 150 degrees. It is somewhere between 200 and 230 ft lbs. we set it to 200 and it clicked. We set it to 230 and it never clicked. So we are unsure. My digital torque wrench is only a 3/8 so we didn’t use that for the 150 degrees. we torques it down with my 1/2in torque wrench because the adapter would through the torque off a little. We then did the degrees with his 3/4 torque wrench which we didn’t have the proper socket for so we used an adapter.

I can't wait till my warranty is up so I can exstend my man hood to the H/C.I have a list a list as lonh as John Holme'es you know whatster. I paid for the 5 year warranty and will work it out, but my buddy whom lives in IRB, Fl had a Red Eye and spent$$$ He told me what and whom he did it with. I got it all on email and it seems to have worked cause. He tradeded it it in for a Lambo. Went from a $160,000 to a $250,000 based auto. Took a year for the Ile tell youz the dudes to build this critter. He said 3 days ago it wood be dun in June. Zeeze?? But for that $$ I guess you want it to be correct coming from Sarasota instead of Atlanta. I offered for him to use my H/C when he ever wanted a need for speed, but he has a bicycle he says,, yea right. El Ri Co La. I want to drive yo damn Lambo, Bro. It will be in good shape when I get to slam this critter into 200 mph. Can't wait as long as the girls don't kill me 1st. Will sea.
Went to a car show tonight and my H/C is factory plus a bit not to screw with the 5 year warranty. These Lambos, Ferriaris, utters, old but chromed to the max. My auto could not place in the top 50. I tried that the 1st week and it placed in the top 50. Now I have all the engine painted and a few IAI done and mods and wouood not even come close. All these yankees spend all summer and 1/2 winter wainting to come to Fl to bust our asses. I guess Viagra does not do the trick so they take it out out on us. SNOT FAIR. Not right,, thanks EB bastards bastards. Take it out on our 19 year old blond bond shell beauties we pay for after you asses leave. Well,, god bless them caause they will be 20 years old. I'll take'em fishing and to to the parks. What ever they want to enterain em. Don't have to bbe naked buster that helps,, $$$. Helps.
That's fine,,, thanks. We love any way. Our cars are just ass fast and we have a new group coming up every year. Thanks.

Nice cut. I clicked mine at 300nm or ~221ft/lbs. The 150deg with the mirror was a pain for me.

I just noticed, shouldn't the pin be flush with the inner groove so the washer seats all the way? Sorry, I'm just lookin out.
