If I slam the pedal I just blow the tires away . I have to figure the track each time I go to fine tune my launch .

I’m curious with all these big horsepower guys in these post I’ve finally got my car issues resolved and plan on testing the tune this Thursday my best 1/4 is 10.60 and that was with a previous tuner but a unhealthy run considering it had knock retard throughout the run , Curt’s done the tune now and it’s a 93 octane tune but I will add 2 gallons of 112 just to add a couple of points of octane, I have the 3:09 diff,would I get better times with my 2:62 diff or should I stay put also I had put the cat deletes back on while I was trying to figure my issue out,will putting the cat deletes back on net me any gains

I tested 3 different intakes with 4 passes each . I tried to give equal cool downs/ hot laps and with out a doubt the LMI netted me my best MPH and ET . The JLT was pretty close and the stock one was definitely behind . I'm going to over all my logs tomorrow and the next few days . It's was also hot and humid here today ( 88-96F) all day with Crappy DA ( 2500-3300 ) . The results I got are for MY CAR today . It is not written in stone for everyone . Results will very .

Worst pass 10.4@ 135 (hot lap with tire spin)
2 other passes 10.3X@ 136

JLT
Best pass 10.0@141.7 (tire spin)
Worst pass 10.4@ 137 (hot lap with tire spin)

LMI
Best pass 9.82@142.5
Worst pass 10.3@137 (2nd hot lap right after stock box test and tire spin)

Wow that was slow for your mods. Did you run in Colorado? Oh wrong thread again🤪
Hopefully it's fixed up now. Fwiw my buddy ran a 10.15 in the summer with similar mods as you. And that was before we heard of trans tuning.

Just so you know I checked and the da here was about 1000ft lower. LOL
Apparently Nick and Carl ran a 4.04 in the 1/8 today with the Napierville car in the pro mod race. Apparently on a soft launch with a .96 60'😳😳😳.
I should have gone today. 😕

I was there to witness Hpindy's passes. His car is no joke. At one point they told him he could only use the left lane (crappy lane prep gone) because they didn't wan't him embarrassing Demon's at a Demon event. True story! I was there when he asked why he wasn't allowed to run the right lane anymore. They said it was for Demons and fast cars only all of a sudden.o_O:rolleyes: He still went faster then any Demon there. :oops: Actually only two cars went faster then Hpindy all day. A charger with a 426 hemi and twin turbo's ran 9.7 and a Pontiac Firebird with god knows what monster engine and nitrous ran 9.6. Both cars had wheelie bars, big slicks and where trailered to the event. The charger had a industrial fan setup to cool his car while Hpindy was hot lapping:ROFLMAO:

I my opinion I think the best think to do is run the car as is with the new tune . A tune can make a pretty significant difference. Get a feel for the car then revisit changing parts . Once you get a feel for the car you will have a better idea .
