What was your out the door price?

Saw my Guy na col ogist today and he put his name in the hat fera new C8 and ifyou want one right now it's $30, 000 over. He talked to 5 dealers and at 1 dealer he would be in the 7,000 waiting list, but he found a dealer in Crystal River that put him as # 7 on their lis. Delivery time sum time in 2021. Price started at $56 when he got done right at the same price,, $110,000. But he wanted. Good doc. Helped me keep my license.

Do WB have a higher mark up than standard Hellcats? Do Redeyes have more markup than WB? Hard for me to tell, it's not obvious.

I think 2% below invoice on any 2019 left over regardless of WB or not should not be the end of the negotiating. When dealers are offering 4-5% below invoice on 2020’s, that 2% seems light. Even if there are higher markups on higher models, the fact that youre looking at a year older model should really say a lot. If I’m not mistaken the deals on 2019’s in 2019 were better than that if you looked hard enough.

Zero percent lease price, EDIT - I went and looked. Was 68K, plus tax, title, license, and transport (remember in Texas you pay tax on a lease just like you purchased the car).

Purchase price at end (buy out): 45K

All I can add without some research is that the out-the-door-price should increase with the number of doors.
In other words, a nice 2-door is a better value. As it should be.

I got emails from everyone going up the chain of leadership at the dealer. Told them I was going go hold out and continue shopping, we'll see if they reach back out to me next week.

That is basically what I ordered. No sun roof, no tech package. It has everything else to include the satin painted graphics package on a narrow body. I paid 75 out the door. I popped on it because I had been watching the cars for a while, and this was normally a near 90k car for years. I ordered it at the height of the Covid scare when Dodge was backed up with materials and no cars to ship... so I got a steep factory MSRP reduction and the power dollars on top of that. Took me almost 4 months to receive it after the deposit was made.

The 2019 I was looking at is still on their lot. They eventually moved 18% total off MSRP of almost $76k.

I loved the car and the price turned out great but it was still $20k more than i paid for my used 2016 and I decided the value just wasn't there for me.

Out the door price? I few rounds of 45 ACP fired into the ceiling of the show room. Well worth it to avoid the etched window glass and rust protection sales pitch. Recommended.

I ordered the Durango SRT Hellcat at straight list and got full Kelly Blue Book+ for my trade, which was a 2018 Colorado ZR2 dusk edition...Total cost List was 91,655 with shipping less trade was about 59,000+tax...I am told in my area most dealers charge at least 10K above list
