Dealers prefer if you finance it since they make money off of that as well, so cash really doesn't get you any leverage.

That's very true and I thought about that, but they(dealers) get credit doing volume also and it goes a long way and helps with leverage on new inventory. I never knew that until I bought my truck. Practically stole it. I couldn't understand why everything I said, the salesman just said yes and agreed to it and was like "we can do that" and "no problem". I looked at my wife and was like, "is this real". Salesmen said "just go with it". When we got to finance dept. I said something to the lady and she said "you know how many people come in here and want a 40K car for $200 a mo. and no money down, and then even when we work the numbers and get'm a deal, it falls through cause they have NO CREDIT. You have good credit. You sign this deal it's done, we move a car". That means next year they get 2 hellcats or 3 whatever's from the mother co. cause they're a volume dealer. There's more perks too. They can pull cars from other dealers if mother co. says so cause, hey there big man on campus, they get what they need, they're a volume dealer.

I bought mine in 2016, just as they started to come off MSRP. Bought for 1k off MSRP. Not as cheap as you can get one now, thats for sure.

I saw a power deals ad this morning. A week or so I saw something where Tim Kuniskis was saying something about pushing to continue sales thru the end of the year. Do you think they are extending the power deals program since today was supposed to be the last day?

Bought my 16 challenger hellcat in Oct 17 for $65,000. Msrp was $74650. I thought I got a good deal. They also have me $30,000 for my 2010 challenger SRT, which was about $8,000 more than clean trade in value.

Bought my 2015 Challenger B5 M6 Hellcat w/ Laguna Leather option for 50K with 650 original miles June of last year. The dealership flew me and my wife out to Indy from New York. Upon passing my inspection I drove home that afternoon. Deals are out there but you’ve got to be willing to travel.
