Had several "conversations" with the Architect when designing new house a few years ago. He kept wanting to make the garage smaller because it "overwhelmed" the house. I eventually won the battle by inserting a scale icon of the truck and other vehicles on the drawing.

I "let" the architect put a 3 bay garage on the house, (only because I had 4 bays on the shop already (4 bays - up to 2 cars deep for each one... )) lol

Reminds me of the "discussion" I had when building my last home in Ohio. The builder said only a 3 bay garage, I said, oversize 4 bay or I take my money and walk. The builder wised up real quick, the garage on the end was a double deep, looked like a 3 car from the street.
