Great job! I was stuck in the 9.0’s for so many passes, I was beginning to think that 8’s was some kind of sound barrier 🤨. Is that Simons car? I ran him in that car first round of MSHS Heavy Weight in Kentucky two years ago. I was fastest in the class with 9.0’s and my crew guy screwed up staging and DQ’d me. One more thing on the long list of how to blow a sure thing. 🙄

It was yes. It was his goal for the car to be stock and get in the 8s. He was close but unfortunately he passed away before it happened. When I bought it from his wife and best friend I told them I would finish the goal.
