I have two favorite colors. Black and red.
Red is for the go fast stuff and black for everything else. Heck even my house is white and black. View attachment 76438
Third time doing axles this month. @vortecd came over to help. It helps having a second hand.
Put new axle seals in. Hopefully it stops the leak. About 2 hours to do both sides.

Upgraded because I had the geforce axles already on hand. The car actually had wheel hop issues. At least one axle was broke in the car. I didn't want to play that game.
So 3 weeks ago I put these axles in. The night before a race I saw some diff fluid under the car after driving it. So I pulled everything apart and checked it out that night. It looked fine. So I went with it but still noticed some fluid would come out when moving the axle under the car so I did the seals.
Honestly it is not bad. The more I tear apart these cars the less scary they are to work on. Some of the jobs are way easier then people make them out to be
The more people that work on them find easier ways to do jobs which helps the rest out. Youtube and different write ups help
I did a whole fuel system on my '87 Mustang 20 years ago. It had breaded lines with AN fittings. The hardest part was getting the fittings on the lines without a vise to hold it

I kept asking Jon yesterday if he had started and he kept saying "no" I had to do some pushing to get him motivated to do it. Better this weekend with temps around 80 and low humidity then the 90s that are coming
