Over 3500 flight hours here. Even logged some time in a theater of combat. The good old days.

rinse the car, spray panels with light swipes of spray detailer, then wipe clean.

It knocks the water off the car to a great extent and makes the wipedown go in half the time Plus its gives lubricity to the whole deal and will help prevent scratching.

Been using Polyte microfiber towels for drying and for cleaner and wax removal. Recently purchased a Gyeon quartz drying towel. Haven’t used it yet. Waiting for snow to go away and a warm day.
I did try the cordless leaf blower. That was a comical waste of time. Need more HP.

I dry my kitty with a master blaster. It provides heated and filtered air. Works great and I have no swirl marks. Yet lol

yeah.....you can add me in there too. Avionics tech, aircrew and pilot. Started out on fixed wing but I was hooked after my first flight in a helo

but to answer the question....I use my leaf blower to get the majority off, then finish with microfiber towels.

Drive around the block, leaf blower, clean up with a microfiber towel. Have been using a chamois my whole life but recently read several articles that a chamois creates more surface scratches. Chamois is now a wall ornament in the garage....
