I'm from the SW tip of North Carolina.

The guy who taught me everything about Mopars is in his 70's now and he has a Challenger Hellcat Redeye Super Stock(sort of a light metallic forest green- love the color).

I have a 6.4 out of a Trailhawk I'm working with now. It is going to be a stroker engine. I have a 6.4 BGE that I will assemble once the machine work is done.

I have retrofitted 6.1's into two Jensen Interceptors I own.

I am on the lookout for a wrecked Hellcat or Demon that is still mechanically undamaged as far as engine and transmission as I have a 'Cuda I would like to do the swap on. Thanks for having me.

<Jimmy from South Park> Thanks you've been a really great audience. </Jimmy from South Park>

See, I'm giving you some room here, because I'm putting together the pieces, and I'm going to extort donuts out of you or tell the world the truth about you and pictures.

;)

I will get pics of the two that I have put SRT8 6.1's in for sure.

The other two are still projects.

The reason I want a wrecked Hellcat is to get everything and transfer it over so that I can do better than my attempts at hacking up the NAG1. I like the NAG1 but I have screwed several up. I studied the Porsche Boxster and the Land Rover Freelander- they use a JT5xx transmission. One of my first NAG1's had paddles to control Reverse and Forward Gears because I thought the valve body and solenoids could be simplified. The trans tunnel in an Interceptor is bleepin' huge and I had zero problems getting an NAG1 in and I had read a lot of sketchy stuff that if you didn't need electronic park- you could essentially treat it like a paddle shift, and when you shut off, have it in the N solenoid(I machined a collar around the column and when you came to a stop, pressing North on the upshift paddle to put it in neutral, at a redlight, press S. To lock it in neutral when you turned off the car, you pulled both paddles toward you, press South, and that locked the paddles in Neutral. You use the emergency brake, and because there is virtually no reproduction sheetmetal(and it is all in the UK)- you damn sure didn't park on a hill and you made sure the E-brakes were working. Because in my early hacks on NAG1 - no true park. Luckily NAG's were cheap, relatively speaking, from junkyards because in one year I went through 4 trying to get a paddle shift system and harness built and I know a lot of people who have used Sounds German's kit with farm more simplicity than anything I cobbled together.

Like an idiot, I was scared of injection, and I used OCP and ARROW CASCAR intakes with a carb initially. I finally grew a pair and using a used OCP intake that was fitted for fuel injection I used the MSD 6013 box to manage spark and efi.

The fact that a 440 block will self destruct at 600hp and a BGE that is properly prepped can handle 1200hp essentially tells me... Why play with a toy when you can have a tank ?
