The interior view is what got me suspicious about it being fake. Also when I started looking at some of the details it became obvious it was a computer generated image.

I've been called worse.

Besides, that the V6s parked outside are clean (by natural causes) is not a good reason for you to be jealous. Also, they're completely free of python and alligator tracks. Not even any hypodermic needles stuck underneath, like there could be on EricG's car.

Haha yeah well I do General Lee my car from time to time…funny thing though, @Jimmy N. had more bug splats on the front of his car than I had ever seen when I was up there and I was seriously like WTF dude???? But he’s got livestock, a fleet to maintain, and a woman 1000x levels higher than his grumpy old Swedish ass deserves to please so I guess his dirty car gets a pass

Gus and I can come up the last week of July and help you wash it.

I learned years ago that it has to do with speed.

Stay under 100 or so and there won't be many bugs on the 'Cat, as evidenced by the relative lack of them on my girlfriend's car. Over 100 and the bugs (and birds) can't get out of the way in time.

Guess that's an advantage of being a city dweller - even decrepit bugs can avoid vehicles doing 35 mph (if there's no traffic).

Yup, learned that with my first car, which was a convertible. Drive fast enough and you won't get wet.

Trying to come to a stop under a bridge to put the top up was the tricky part.

Thinking more about this, I suspect that you ended up separated from your roots, turning soft and civilized. Not so American that you're fat, yet soft.

Meanwhile, I have remained more of a beserkerer and don't let things like bugs on the front of the 'Cat bug me. Heck, I can't see them when driving anyway, and parking nose first in the garage...out of sight, out of mind.

Besides, I only have so much mind to use.
