I would have to agree with you. 3,300 miles here, no issues. Broken in per recommended break in procedure. Almost all E85 miles. Few 93 pump gas fills with common sense right foot pressure. Unfortunately now sleeping for few months till spring arrives. While in storage it has pump gas.

As Jack mentioned, it was the blower. They've now installed a Gen 6 Whipple and a 3.0" pulley making 21psi and eclipsed 1000RWHP. Then proceeded to beat on it. I'd say these engines are just fine as long as assembled correctly.

Looks like RacerX
Got his figured out now

Interesting...looks like there's now a full campaign on replacing the plugs in all Demon 170s. Couldn't find anything on the replacement PN on Google, maybe because it's a kit. Mine's never had a problem, but I'll get this done now that it's a thing.

Shows a shop time of 1.7 hours so all these stories about plugs being hard to change must be folk lore

I would buy a ticket to watch a dealer tech R&R all 16 plugs in 1.7 hours!

Yeah, either laugh at the real hours, or learn some impossible secret to doing it.

Exactly. I have no doubt the OEM engineering behind the PCV system on the 6.2 is sound, but if it weren't for those damn humongous China Walls on the valve covers, I think the job would be so much easier. Every time I look at one of my 392s and then the Hellcat, I just shake my head. I have been pondering if a set of aftermarket covers and figuring out how to keep the system plumbing and catch connected would fit and work.

Well, the stated 1.7 hours is kinda good news. While I enjoy working on my own junk, I don't enjoy an 8 hour day leaning over an engine bay fighting with something as simple as spark plugs. Labor rate X 1.7hours makes it a no brainer to have the dealer do them if you have a good tech you trust.

Here is my guess, they don't unplug the coil packs. I have on a couple laid the coil pack aside and changed the plugs. My biggest issue is getting them unplugged. Spent too much time trying to unplug them first not seeing if there was enough wire to pull them out plugged in

My next plug change will happen with the engine out so may be awhile before I can test that theory
