I looked and looked, all the dealers in the area are offering $10-11k off, not even 20%. The Build and Price is a great tool, but it only leads to the local dealers and you get what they have/offer. This one dealer, for reasons I cannot explain (yet) is offering a full $25% off! Which is why I put down a non-commitment deposit until it arrives.

Monday the wife and I are going there to take a similar 2500 for a 40mi test drive on backroads and highway under construction. We should get a good feel of the ride and handling.
That's a great test...interested to see what you think,,,

You can have all the other stuff..(not sure I even know what it all is...)...but I've gotten very used to the heated..and vented 48 way seat...;)
I can do without the heated seat, but do like the heated 'wheel.

Didn't like it enough to end up with a touch screen in the 3500, though.

That's how it used to be, but I think I could search nationwide last time I was looking for a 3500.

Ironically, my girlfriend found a Tradesman locally that she liked. I had dismissed that one as it had all kinds of odd options, like running boards, cab marker lights (on a SRW!) and much other stuff.

But it did have the Aisin, and a lever for the transfer case, just like my 3500.

The asking price was okay, but for whatever reason they paid really well for her 6.4 trade-in.

That's one BIG truck...even in 18 it had to be close to the 6 figure mark......
When I custom ordered this one they were still reasonable, Here is the sticker. I paid $62,900, got about $9,500 off between dealer discount and rebates...............

That was a LOT of money back then! (Price and discount.) I checked with Koons on a special order and they give the price w/o incentives. Not a bad price but you never know what the incentives will be in 2 months. I have never seen incentives like this before.

It was 10% off of MSRP when she bought her 3500 Cummins as I recall. Might have been some other incentive a $1K, too.

Either way, a fair amount of vehicle for the money. I suspect that a 4-door longbed is longer than a mega cab.
