Behold the 1977 Dodge Aspen R/T. I got one brand new in 1976 after Completing my first tour in Germany. Looked fast sitting still. Beautiful car but, it could not get out of its own way.

Yes, I remember those. A friend has a 1974 model with the 440 in it.

Much more hideous than that is the Charger that's based on a Cordoba. And don't forget those awesomely powerful "Lean Burn" engines they came with. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Oh man....I almost had one of those. My old man wasn't keen on turning me loose in his '70 Road Runner as I was about to get my license. You could buy these cheap and the one he found for me (a white '78 model I think) was equipped with an "awesome" 318 4bbl. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

These were popular in my area back then. I know a guy who has one right now, but it's got a worked 360 in it and runs really well.

I kept mine for 1.5 years and dumped it when I got orders for Korea.
