I still run the original in my WB, not at 1.4's, but hopefully soon. Does anyone know of an aftermarket retrofit carrier to replace the POS that currently is used?

ya maybe I`m dreaming, but if there is some guys out there doing it sure would like to hear from them.

There are 2 Hellcats that I know of with a stock ds at my track. The Orange 2017 that has run 10.52 with a 1.52 60'.
The other is George's black 17 sunroof car that has run 9.52. I think his 60' is 1.45.
The interesting thing about this car is it has no weight removal.... none. It even still has the original front wheels and tires and race stars with 305/17 ET'rs and is also still geared 2.62.😉

this is great info Jim an it begs the next question , what`s the shafts part #...……...wouldn't it be great if we could compile this info an conclude what shafts are up to the task. I for one would go back to the stock shaft in a heart beat if I knew it would stand up to the beating. if you see him maybe he would share which part# his car came with.

$1350 isn't that bad for a RE/Demon 3.09 DS.

I guess I should count my blessings I've not had problems. One less thing LOL.

I agree . I'm glad there are some of you guys having success with your chosen driveshaft. Unfortunately I have not had much success .

any idea the part# on your shaft? you asked about carrier, are you asking about the hanger brg?

I have an 18WB with stock 2.62 and yes the hangar/carrier bearing.

It's last minute but I'm on my way to the track. It's not a great track but it's better then nothing and I can try out my new mods . I can work on 60 foots , launch and 1/8 mile times .

Been through plenty of drive shafts. Pst carbon fiber, like 4 or 5 DSS shafts, and all
Of them had some sort of vibration.
Some worse and some better. Been chasing it for years. I do lots of high speed so I feel it the most.

@Marc0779 let me borrow his demon 2 piece and it’s been the best shaft ever in my car.

I either gotta give it back or pay him for it. @Marc0779 Lol I need to get that done buddy. I’ll give you a call some time tomorrow to catch-up.

@Hpindy also check your wheel balance. I had a shop dona great job balancing and it solved no joke, 60-70% of the vibration issues. cheap insurance to make sure the car is feeling smooth,
