Huntsville Drag Strip...cage or no cage?

Anyone know if Huntsville makes street cars have a cage running UNDER 10 sec?

You shhh LOL! Our cars are rating at 200 mph on the street and we have 6 air bags. Why would we need a cage? lol But that is not what this thread is about? Dave (Hellno) and I are looking for somewhere to race this weekend.

Any tracks open?

Huntsville is an eighth mile track.. their idea of 'under 10 seconds' is different than yours or mine. lol

They are pretty laid back regarding tech so I *think* you'd be ok, but no promises. I've been 6.70's there w my RE and they were satisfied w just a helmet. You guys are a good bit quicker than that so I don't really know what they'd allow you to get away with.

If you can get hold of Alex there he'll give you a straight answer about it.

I plan on going to Clay City, but the weather is not good, but we will see tomorrow if they stay on schedule or cancel.
