TVS2650 = ROOTS - whisper quiet
IHI 2.4/2.7/3.0 = TWIN SCREW - screaming!

I won’t get into it but I won’t support them. Whipple will send you 10 new blowers if it breaks. Interested to see how that works here

How does this compare to the Whipple 3.8? I cant see this unit making more power than the 3.8 why would one chose this over the Whipple?

3.8 can make over 1500 whp can this make that if spun hard enough and what advantage would it be if it could be spun that hard seems like ud have to spin it to the moon to make even 1400 whp.

Im using a 3.25 but was gonna pulley down and go with a far more agressive cam. Is there any advantage to this blower over the 3.8?

Or sell the 2.7 first. Another thing there can be engine damage caused from a broken blower. With that being said you aren't spinning your 2.7 that hard though

I had a roush blower which is a tvs with a closed airbox and it was pretty quiet. With an open filter made way more whine. Change the pulley and it is even louder. These will be open filter and most will have a pulley so you will hear it just fine

This blower will not out perform a working 3.8 whipple. This will be more comparable to a 3.0.
people run a 3.0 upper on the 3.8. I would def not go any smaller than that.
you mean you want to go with a cam where they will tell you the specs? Crazy they keep it a secret.

Thats kinda what I figured. Sux, cause I bet its far more effecient. Everything is a freaking secret but I think Skip over at Demon has something for me as I was talking to him last week.

Thought about sending motor there to swap it for a Noonan Billet Block but unless I go TT it wont do much for me and im wanting to stay blower for now cause I want that instant hit it gives me. Its about $30k to swap it as I have rods, crank and heads. I do need a better valve train tho.

The Turbos are just far less stress on everything but the TT kit with AMS 2000 BC is about $35k as I wanted to go with Bullsye NLX 80mm's so not sure what I wanna do as money does not grow on trees. Think im just gonna pulley down to a 3.0 and put new cam in it and see how it performs.

The goal this year after the new cam, pulley, valve train and valve covers is to lighten it up. CF seats, hatch, glass roof removal, Carbon Ceramic fronts and CF doors when they come available. Doors are gonna be really expensive might have to wait on those for next year idn.

This blower will not out perform a working 3.8 whipple. This will be more comparable to a 3.0.
