I seem to remember him saying his 170 was 5k over..and then 10 over...and if his 18 was bought 3rd hand..who knows what that number was...the 170's certainly have not taken the moonshot some expected they would...be that as it may..the vin matched color coordinated pair should bring a premium for those looking for something along those lines..just not at this juncture
I saw these when these popped up but wasn't going to say anything.
150 might be possible for the 23 as it is a color (although not a popular one) with red interior.
105 is probably the ceiling for the 18. Illegal or not, its no longer the "king of ICE" and if you factor in inflation, it needs to hit 115k to break even. And thats without taxes figured in.
The 170 really is a special car. I fully expected a noisy, floaty, race car and it drives better than my Hellcat did with some added personality as a bonus.
Sounds notwithstanding...they haven't sold...maybe not quite the once in a life time deal the seller thought it would be..the number just might be closer to 250 @ this point in time..maybe late spring..early summer..they might bring more...still not the big score expected is my guess...

It would seem...the buyer will just be a collector that probably never drive em..I still dont see the pair topping 300..but then again what do I know...

No offense to any original Demon owners but its simply a Redeye and pretty slow in stock form im surprised anyone would pay $85k for one.
The 170 makes the original Demon look like a 4 cylinder Mustang now I just dont see ANY collector value when the 170 exists now and is actually a REAL performer unlike the original Demon. My Redeye was disappointingly slow smh.
Speedy when are u gonna start modding that thing so we can see what the potential is..... Anyone have a pulley and tune combo yet?
