They would have to add some "style" to the body lines. Car is way too plain

I would like to see a 1970 door on it.

It would look a lot better with that engine in it.

Besides the door scallops, they need to do something with the front bumper looking thing/valence.

So the integrated wing up front (NOT the rest of the front) is the one styling queue i actually like.

But it matters not, any return of an ICE engine of any substantial power will get rid of it in place of a required radiator

I'm not so interested in what Dodge is "just getting started on" as what it is they actually end up producing.

I went to the Philly Auto show this past weekend. I laughed when the lady giving the description of the Charger Said " And it comes with "Performance Sounds" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I know through the years , many have posted how they always would like Dodge to build the Charger with 2 doors. I didn't like it! It seems small, I'm use to 4.

The front end, to me is an EV thing.

The fake sounds are the gayest thing ever created...... And the thing is ugly AF. I think they will come out with something electric that will blow ppl's minds.....

There are already electric vehicles making 5000 hp and available to buy and shit Rivian says their new truck will have 1025 hp the same as the Plaid so we know the potential for an EV has really no limits once they master the battery thing and that company has very deep pockets. ICE vehicles cant keep up.....

It took ICE vehicles 75+ years to produce a car that makes a 1000 hp for sale as a car to the public. It was the Bugatti in 2006. Tesla did it in with their very FIRST EV! First try.... Imagine in just 10 years how much power EV vehicles will be making.

The Rivian is an incredible vehicle. Has a crazy stiff frame, electro-hydraulic roll control with the front sway bar, very low positioned shocks, crazy front end with double wishbone control arms, air suspension to control ride height, crazy fast dampening. Thing handles almost as good an a modern day sports car does! Then u can take it off road and its even a bigger beast there the thing is freaking awesome!

The new Hyundai Iconiq 5N has the fake sounds to but they dont sound fake but still gay AF. Shit, that thing makes 650 hp and is one the best handling cars u can buy right now either gas or EV its an incredible machine! Has a motor at each wheel makes TQ vectoring possible and it works insanely well. Watch ANY review on that car on the track or spirted road driving and ull see for urself.

Ill also say, in the picture above the Red looks a 1000 xs better than the white one I saw at the show.

What should be the "Engine" compartment is so boring to look at!
The young guys... were all like Wow they really messed that up!

Let's Go V8!!!!!

Well, the aftermarket has been over 1000hp with ICE cars for 30+ years now.
Street cars ran well into the 8s in the 90s.

With that said, manufacturers have been fighting government and emissions to go along with their HP.
Now we have huge $$$ on the table to push the EV envelope. Or at least, that is what the Government was hoping.

1000hp has been no big deal for 20 years now. It has just never come from the factory that way.

But there was always a perception of EVs being slow and terrible.
See this Simpsons take as an example:

But I do agree, it is the future. But I think they needed some of these crazy ass EVs just to show that they are not slow or weak.
But now they need to do a proper sports car. One that handles like a Vette or maybe even something smaller like a GTI or Civic R etc. Those cars don't need 1000hp but they do need to be nimble.
And priced right.

I have been researching solar panels and finishing my garage to handle ev charging and getting an EV just to bomb around in. Every car I own is ass on gas. It would be nice to just pay a few hundred a month in a lease and have a "fun" appliance to drive.

But I do agree, it is the future.
It was the future, but things have changed recently.

There is a new Sherrif in town.
People are starting to wake up from “woke”.
The greenest state in the union has undid 50 years of environmental efforts in a single week because of gross mismanagement. If CA never went green, the air in CA and the entire U.S.A. would be better than it is now. AND, we would have saved a few TRILLION$$$.

For the last 25 years or so, the man-made Global Warming religion has dictated the so-called “facts” and dissenters were defunded and cancelled. This may be the beginning of the exposure of the Junk Science and return to SCIENCE. I am by nature not a hope person, but at this time I see more reason for hope than ever before.

Maybe we'll see some high HP V8's in the future, but they won't be anywhere near $60k minus power dollars!

The first 1000 hp production car was the Buggati in 2006. Im not talking about ppl who have modiced their cars im talking about PRUDUCTION cars. Big difference.

Im retired I drive a LOT since there is basically nothing else to do. I have expensive stereo systems as im an audiofile and like to take long rides and listen to music. I spend about $250 a week in freaking gas. Fuk that! Nothing is close to me. A simple trip to best buy or the grocery store is an hour round trip.

The Plaid with the Track package can stay with just about any other sports car on the track now. The Rivian handles better than a Plaid without the Track Package mainy due to the brakes but the fact that a truck can do just about everything better than most other cars is impressive im really on the fence I want to buy one but they are expensive but shit im spending $12k a year on freaking gas!

The EV price would be about $2k for the whole dam year. Solar panels nice! Yea, I thought about just buying a cheap EV but I spend too much time in my car. I would compare that to buying a hoopdie to travel back and fourth to work in and u live an hour away. U spend (10) hours a week in that car it should be something u enjoy driving imo.

I have plenty of other toys but I need a DD thats fast, gets good range and is fun to drive. So its either the Plaid, The Rivian or the 5N there arent a lot of choices. I did entertain the Hummer at 1025 hp its legit but just too dam wide. The Rivian is a sports car truck thats hard to beat!

Things havent changed at all more ppl buying EV's now then ever actually especially since the government gives ppl a $7500 tax credit.

We sure will see a 1000+ ICE cars thats fact but they wont get better than 15 mpg.... Ppl buying EV's for the most part are buying them to save on gas they could care less about hp atleast for most ppl. Its a plus to get power most want range.

In Cali 93 octane is like $6 freaking dollars a gallon. How that is sustainable to anyone out there is beyond me smh.

I think the whole "Everyone is going EV thing" was kinda blown out of proportion cause thats just not the case now and states like Cali requiring EV vehicles by 2030 or whatever has been scaled back as well.
