Has anyone tried the TBM XS3’s yet for a 15” conversion? Will 15” beadlocks out on the market clear them?

Yes they will fit 15's as long as ur not double bead locked. Bead needs to be on the outside. I learned the hard way with my Turbo Mustang. I used the regular ones then swapped and put the Baer Street brakes front and rear to clear both 15's and 17 inch RC Components.

But my buddy has these on his Mustang now so im sure they will fit 15's on the hellcat thats really the whole point of these brakes is to clear 15's and still be able to stop which u cant with the race versions wow the race stuff is utterly dangerous on the street geeez fuk that!

Honestly theyre not that light and work so-so. I would opt for the Baer stuff TBH but they probably are similar in stopping power. Not sure the price difference tho but the Baers are likely more money.

170's need to remove the control arm brace? Wonder if that applies to the lower profile AAD piece...

I just ordered them for the front. Have the wildwood TCE on the rear and run single beadlocks and they clear no problem and work very well

Waiting for my car to get back from the fab shop for the cage, then I'll be putting the Brakes on. Heading to Legion of Demons with it in January.

Local guy with a Charger has TBM brakes on all 4 corners. He told me he does NOT like them and they're "scary" to drive on the street.

I know F150s are a little lighter than Challengers, but those guys aren't complaining about streetability of the drag brakes. TBM recently released a street version of brakes for the F150, and there isn't an overwhelming reason to run them over the race version.

What about them is scary on the street?

He's a friend of mine and we were catching up at a car show. He said he felt like the car wouldn't stop and he didn't at all recommend them for a street driven car. He was even thinking of changing them out if memory serves but not sure what he decided.

HIs Charger runs in the high 8s so he's not messing around at the track.

I don't know if there are multiple versions maybe? His looked thin and tiny.

These are new and different, they’re not the scalloped rotor ones. These are specifically for street and track use

Cheaper than a set of new factory rotors

Does he have the new street ones xs3 that just came out or the older ones?
