A quick check on AutoTrader shows a 2016 Challenger 392 goes for roughly $30k, tens of thousands less than a 2023 Supra or a 2017 C63 AMG.

Just saying ...

Hmm, no real suprise - the AMG was best from a roll, Supra best from the line, Challenger the slowest & also the least expensive (new or used) by at least 50%. Seems a odd comparison as all 3 are very different segments of the market IMO.

Prediction: 20 years from now, there will be a ton of 392's still rolling and in demand. There will be a few Supras around, and the AMG will be a unicorn.

Sam isn't part of a large automotive testing group like C&D or MT, so he just puts together whatever cars are available to him at the time.

For that, I think he does a pretty good job. The 392 costs way less than the others and was only 3/10 behind the AMG, that's pretty good in my book.

Agreed. Muscle cars have a mystique all their own, and certain segments of the market will always have people looking for one.
