This is the only pic I can search up on Allyn Lee’s “A-car”, as he used to call it. Local racer and hero…held lots of NHRA records in that car. I am buddies with his nephew who also owns a speed shop. The black paintjob was done in the mid-later 90’s by my old roommate…who I am also still buds with and he still does show-quality builds/paint. We all used to call Allyn “Uncle Al” and we still refer to him this way. His speed shop “Lee Brothers” was shared with his brother Dwight who passed quite a few years ago. Allyn passed in 2022. If anyone can find pics of the 68 with its original yellow paint and “Lee Bros” on the side that would be awesome.
