That is such a perk when you got somebody in a machine shop that can make 'special' or 'just right' parts for your app. Buy that guy a nice Xmas present. LOL. Also, why can't he just make the concentric hole the right size instead of 78.1 with a pilot ring? Either way, 12MM is a hell of a spacer! I think 3 or 5MM would be my max comfort zone to compensate for rim tire combo.
Don’t need to buy him a beer, already give him about a 100k or more a year in business making and fixing machine parts for my work place. He’s a racing buddy of mine too, he has a 10 second street Vet and a 8 second Camaro
But yes, always great to have friends with benefits lol

THANK YOU!!

I think I found the stud that will work for my needs. From left to right is Doorman stock replacement 610-502 at 50 mm stud length
Doorman 610-435 with is about 8 mm longer then stock
Doorman 610-509 which is about 25 mm longer then stock
And ARP stud which is about 45 mm longer then stock but knurl pilot is not present
Going to be using the 610-435

Bob does the harbor freight unit do the job? Local HF has them and I could pick up today, plus save 200 bucks over the Miller, is the savings worth the headache?? The definitely looks superior
Haven't used it, for studs, but I used it to rebuild the entire front end on my 6.1 Charger. No problem. Pretty rugged tool.

17x10.5” Race Star Recluse with 28 mm back space with MT 315/50-17’s Street R’s. Had to space them out 11mm’s to clear that dam frame bump on front lower side of the wheel well.

What lugs are you guys running, with the dorman 610-509?

Right now, I have a set of Gorilla black lug nuts, but I dont think they'll fit, on the longer stud.

This is my current setup, with FR-70 20X10.5, on the rear.

These Dorman 610-435 only 8mm longer. Long enough to give me full open ended nut engagement but should still be short enough for when I put the stock 20’s back on without the spacers with the stock lug nuts the nuts shouldn’t bottom out into their heads. If they do I’ll get these longer ones

Their available in black and chrome

FF7729C9-ABD4-432F-9E1D-50E86FA7C111.jpeg This what mine looks like with stock studs, 11mm spacer, and the new Race Stars, and it’s 45 here today and dry, snow coming tomorrow, I soooooo what to go test these 17’s but not on 6 threads lol. I think it would literally blow the tires off first launch.

That is the dictionary term for " sketchy" lol
