How in the world did the car in the Toyota lane do 154.67 mph?? The timers must have been messed up? Based on his 1/8th ET and his 1/4 ET, his mph’s should have been more like 90 and 115?

1.2 60 foot geeeeez..... 8.89 thats sick AF for ANY car let alone a stock one. That cars setup suspension wise and its ability to put the power down is insane. Makes the GT500 look silly.

These things are freaking stock imagine a really good tire, ported blower, Interchiller stage 2, etc.... Thing will be going mid 8's easily. What a crazy awesome platform period!

Imagine having a car u could have this much fun with and have a warranty and drive it for several years and sell it for the same price u paid if not a lot more. Good for those 170 owners wow!

Unfortunately his car is not stock. Race seat, removal of the anti-sway bar, etc. It is great pass but not stock.

It does say 100% STOCK TUNE, does not say completely stock car and yes that is an amazing run!!

I don't have an issue with wheel/tire change, light weight battery and some other things to make a car lighter. Racing seat is on the edge for me.

Even though that number seemed low from Dodge at least it was way more likely people could get close to it then the 18 Demon. Took awhile to match the 18 time

With that logic, one could reduce the cars weight by 500 pounds or put the drivetrain in a smart car and call it the "stock tune record".

DA looked really good and around -500 at that time. Also the uncorrected baro was 29.75. Way better air then I have ever run in

Agreed but also with the other logic changing tire pressure for the track would make it "not 100% stock" so it's a catch 22 but either way it's awful damn impressive.
To be honest a D170 6.2 in a Smart Car would be BADASS!!

What was the tire pressure on Dodge's passes? Obviously reducing the cars weight makes the car not stock, correct? Ron's car is at least 125 pounds liter than the car Dodge ran. There is much documentation on the weight of these cars, what does Ron's car weigh?

Its a great pass, he spends the time and gets the most out of the car.

There is a problem running the car as Dodge did (e.g. "stock") being that the carbon fiber wheels are ridiculously expensive to replace (around $ 13,000.00 for each wheel) so, imo, it is fair to give everyone a pass on the wheels.

Do you actually think that Dodge did everything as a production car? I think no way bet on that.
