Yeah, but that was before people were complaining about "not different enough from last years model" and "the tech is so outdated (in a three year old model)".

But that's just me, a slob who wouldn't have minded if they kept making the Challenger, unchanged, for another 25 years.

I would of liked to have seen some minor styling changes, tech upgrades and suspension tweaks to them myself. The basic platform is a proven workhorse.

To the Bug, or the taxis?

They did a major styling change to the Charger, but I much prefer the original. The less tech the better, no matter what vehicle, and fixing up suspensions is easy to do after the fact.

Mine's an '18. If they still offered them in '35, unchanged, I'd by fine with it. Especially if they could be had with less tech.

There might be some cars coming out that are more basic without the mega tech.

Personally, I like the different things that the new cars have. Especially the rear view mirror wide angle camera in the truck. 0 blind spots.

I rely on mirrors to know what's back there. To me a backup camera is just an irritant, as in the corner of my eye I can see something changing on the dash when putting a vehicle in Reverse.

Yes, I'm getting better at ignoring it, but don't want to lose the instinct of paying attention to things the dash is trying to tell me. Also, the backup camera is another reminder of something I really don't like; the touch screen.

I use the cameras and I especially like the 360° that comes on when you're stopped. We can see if anyone is approaching the truck. Great for the wife when she's alone.
