IC Chiller install & review

I’m pulling the trigger on a chiller. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this instead of the 3 way bypass valve for the heat exchangers? I want something that’s going to automatically let fluid through the heat exchangers at the top of the track in case things get too hot (no aux tank)

My chiller keeps the stock blower coolant at a max of 90-100 at the end of the 1/4 without an extra tank. I have the 3-way valve but have mine set up to turn off the chiller when the front heat exchanger is on. Ill see if I can find my data logs to show a start and end temp. I also just installed the blower spacer plates and it has made a hell of a difference on temp and heat soak.

I have a chiller at home and 3 in da stock lot. Just add an 3 way valve. Like sade up stairs. Eazy, cheap, fast. Unda least youz unt 2 go wit a primary- sexundairy system. 3 way valve, yepper.

Getting ready. Found a bolt from my crash beam I thought I lost 4 years ago in the heat exchanger air duct lol. You can see the worm clamps where I’ve had this all apart before

I did. Hopefully it lives up to it’s name. I’m hopeful. Figure would have better customer support and if there were any issues from Sumit and Charlie since they’re nearby/in the states

How about you install it per Charlie and Sumit's instructions and use it like 100% everyone else has done. Stop frankensteining everything. I make way more boost than you and it has cooled down every time to below 100 on return road once the system kicks in.

I ended up a killer chiller off and put on a innerchiller.

I was going to go with FI, didn’t want to wait weeks, deal with customs, and deal breaker was having it mounted in the front. If I have to get in there again (which I have/will have to) I don’t want to deal with moving it

Getting mocked up. If you already drilled out the spot welds on your crash beam (like I did) I recommend pulling it completely, makes life a lot easier

Just got back from Lowe’s with a nice hose cutter and insulation. Hose still isn’t here yet 😑
