For what he paid for these, they were a good deal and are still better then the stock heads. Besides, if you had unlimited funds which most don't, and you wanted to go for the ultimate cylinder head today then it wouldn't be Thitek. It would be the newer AFR cylinder heads.

They are all having supply issues and these were already here in Canada.

I paid 3600 for mine with titanium intake valves inconel exhaust valves duel spring bronze valve guides. And when I have a problem Craig will fix asap customer service is where it’s at all day

Thitecs are like $2k more. I dont see the point other than availability. I was gonna buy two shorts blocks but was told the only way to get the Thitec heads was with a long block so I opted for that otherwise it was a 6 month wait. No thanx.

$3600 US is $5040 CAD and then we would need to add shipping and brokerage which means those heads would cost about $5500 CAD. He bought the Edelbrocks for under $3000 CAD, (less then $2000 US), no extra cost of shipping, taxes or brokerage.

By this responce, I can tell you will never get it. It's not just a $1000 difference as outlined in my statement made above about the cost difference.

Lol, it does when you break things plus it is just costing you more money. Where is the fun in that?

My car is primarily a street car and thiteks are over kill for my needs .. the edelbrocks will fits my needs perfectly.. these were a smoking deal and do what I want .
The thiteks are an awesome head no doubt but unrealistic for my needs . I am very happy with my purchase .

I agree the new AFR 224 heads will be better then the thireks once released. Maybe I should of waited for all the guys to jump on the AFR bandwagon and dump the thiteks dirt cheap
