Great post! Gives me insight on what to expect. One of the first things I installed as soon as I got my car were the ZL1 rock guards. They "seem" to be doing pretty well at protecting the flares and sides on their own, but I only have 800 or so miles on the car.

I was going to make an appointment to get PPF done on just the front fascia (bumper only) of my WB, but I ended up cancelling as the shop didn't seem very organized or professional to me. I still may look around for a more professional place.

I actually have mine back at the dealer having most of it removed do to a crumby install. Fingerprints, contamination, edges lifting etc. Another completely different place is doing it this time. There is an art to doing this stuff right. Anyone can be taught to paint, but not everyone is a natural artist!

I installed rock guards at all 4 wheels.
Can I ask where you got them? I can only find rear's and it doesn't say for WB. I also want all 4 since I live on a gravel road. Thanks in advance!

I used RallyArmor.
I looked at Rally's site, there was nothing for Challengers, much less wide body.

Thanks, I think those look kind of cheap but if I can't find anything better I'll have to pick them up because I need something. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Not sure what you mean about "look cheap". However, they are larger and cover more than the ZL1 versions.

Just meaning straight flat plastic. I like the OEM molded style but it doesn't look like they will work.

I agree, i have them on my car, not ecstatic about the look, but pleased with the protection. I'm hoping Dodge comes out with something that blends a little better.
