Indeed. I do about 15 minutes of weight reduction to prepare the car for racing.

It’s on the short list when the OE battery dies.

That could be a while. My factory battery was still in my old car when I sold it at year 9.

That tells me FCA spent a bunch of money with a battery supplier, most 12v lead acid batteries are dead in 3-5 years. There are 3 main suppliers in the North American car market, Johnson Controls, Exide and East Penn.

Keep in mind my previous car stayed in the garage so temperature swings were less impactful, not sure if that helped or not.

If the OE battery is an AGM, that helps.

My OE battery failed at just over 2 yrs & was replaced under warranty.
So far the replacement seems OK, but it's only been a little over 1 yr.

The AA battery is nice & good weight savings , can't beat the 10 year warranty too.
I've had mine in since April this year & it's been good for cool down mode at the track.
