Bringing the ‘Cuda name back for a one time guest appearance would represent true heritage that Dodge is basing all the variants and would pay homage to a great car line they once made. I realize it would be a challenger with the Plymouth ‘Cuda treatment, but isn’t that they way they were from 1970 to 74. The only difference would be slight body panel variations and grill finish panel trim. The original ‘Cuda was actually 2 full inches shorter than the Challenger by removing the 2 inches in the floor pan area in the back seat area. If they did the ‘Cuda treatment which is doubtful, they almost certainly wouldn’t remove 2 full inches on a small batch run.

Anyway it certainly would be one hell of an exit strategy. I would take mine with a robust 426 Hellaphant and their garage door jug juice program, Tremec six speed manual T6060 beefed up, with pistol grip, moded shaker mounted to the 3 liter IHI blower poking through hood, Go wing out back, 1970 style Hemi Hokey stick stripe. or the AAR ’Cuda logo. put the side trumpet exhaust from the original T/A challenger where it belongs, take it in any Godamned color possible preferably Torred, flat black treatment. Nice to dream!

This has the twin artifacts that make it possible / doable: easy to do on the current assembly line, and truly unique enough (so to speak) that it would make the premium worth it (at least for some folks).

BO29 says it all. It was body in white from Hamtramck, sent directly to George Hurst’s shop for special prep of shoe horning in the 426 and prepping for the 1/4. Period. Held many records for decades.

Hell...I'm never sure what time it is...but I've heard it twice at the dealership that I got my HC and Demon from...but who knows...I have a cash deposit whatever it is...(the most vague and ambiguous) order they ever wrote..they took my deposit that neither party knows anything about or if their even gonna get one....but the most important thing..it specifies MSRP..signed by the GM..and the owner...so now I cross my fingers and wait...

Tried that with two dealers here and both said they won’t take deposit on a car that hasn’t been officially announced
