If that were exactly true, I'd even have less problem with it. (Precisely - giving US back OUR exact money, after wisely investing it....)


But the reason I don't have an issue with it the way it is, is that we are investing in keeping a large portion of elderly people off of the streets and out of the bigger "system". Like it was before SS, a time that I don't think any of us know??? Streets with lots of homeless people...


The problem I do have with it is the mismanagement of it, but the concept is reasonable to me... Unlike unemployement where we're talking about able-bodied people being lazy.

With all the old ICE cars out there I don’t see them outlawing gas but I can see them taxing it to the point where most won’t be able to drive them on a daily basis. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit☹️

The reality is more likely that the tax pendulum is going to eventually have to swing over hard somehow to the EV side. Tax revenue is going to have to follow the popularity as the gas tax revenue dries up.

CA is what I consider a big problem for this country. It seems the way left types have a lot of pull out there. People are moving out of California in droves, and as long as they are moving to escape those politics for better politics like we have here in TN I'm fine with that. Just don't come here thinking you're gonna implement the same ideologies. CA is already ruined, learn from that mistake.

I am marginally concerned though. I hear people who moved here say "well in CA we had it like this and we did it like that". Ok move back then.

I gotta chuckle the other day at the gun shop. A guy said he'd moved here from CA and wasn't sure if he had to put his firearm in the trunk and the ammo in the glove box driving home. I told him welcome to TN. Slap it on your hip loaded. He was stunned and didn't believe me, then another guy yelled across the store "welcome to TN comrade" LMAO.

Ray, is that when they confirm what we already know, and many have done? A Redeye can be modified easy for E-85 and pick up about 100 more? I am really hoping the future is that trick one with Hellcat RWD power and new electric hybrid stuff in the front. I can dream.

The more I think on this, if it is the Hornet, how does Tim K not get laughed off the stage?
Even if its a hybrid turbo SRT built deal that can run 11s out of the box, who is going to take that seriously?
