Congratulations to our email tuning customer Patrick H. on a new PB at the Texas mile!
This is a very mildly modified Hellcat and he was only a few MPH off from Hellcats running with built engines, aftermarket superchargers, N2O, ice tanks, and E85. Tuning is certainly a key component but just as important is a detailed oriented customer who knows how to properly datalog and supply excellent commentaries. At OST we have certainly been blessed with many talented remote tuning customers!
Here's what Patrick Had to say:
"Just came home from the Texas Mile this weekend.
This was my 11th Mile event, and the 4th with my Hellcat.
Last March I ran a best of a 192.5 mph.
My combo at that time was 10% lower pulley, 95mm throttle body, LMI intake, 1050 injectors, cat deletes and 3.09 rear end on 93 octane with a little Boostane as a safety net
Mike Doban with OST Dyno has been tuning my Dodges since 2011, and my Hellcat is no exception.
This weekend my combo had been augmented by a 3.17 Litens pulley, Interchiller spacer plates, and MS109.Mike was busy at a private track day Friday so I was left to my own devices tuning wise. After a couple of initial runs with last March's tune and good datalogs I made a few small changes that netted me a 194.9.
Mike was back online Saturday and his first tuning change netted me a 195.1, followed with a 196.2.
Sunday morning was warm and humid, but I still ran a 196.5.
I loaded Mike's last tune and ran consecutively a 197.5, 198.3 and finished the day with a 198.9.
Not too shabby for a moderately modified Hellcat Challenger!
FWIW, I was the fastest stock supercharger Challenger Hellcat this weekend!
Thanks Mike!"
