Nice pass! I seriously think these cars get a little faster with miles. My car has picked up at least a tenth and at least 1 mph since I first started tracking it, cannot wait to run cooler fall air now into November before our local track closes because I think it's actually more than that. Vipers were always famous for getting faster with miles on them.

Very first 840 pass (that hooked) was a 9 second pass. We are thinking this car might be a little faster than 465 was/is. My Friends were saying the DA was 2500 feet. It was 90 deg at Irwindale and this was yesterday the 30th, right after picking up the car from Ellis/Glendale Dodge. View attachment 54754

2500 DA that’s pretty decent
My best 660ft is 6.391
Optioned with the passenger seat and
safety harness with bar
@ around 1300 DA
With No weight reduction
Leaving at a dead idle with added rolling resistance.
30psi front 17 psi rear

Irwindale was a dissapointment once again. They have another new Guy prepping and starting. Down track looked reasonable but the start line looked weak at best. I have Demon suspension and the best and biggest tires available and I am not hooking. It sucks. I tried everything from 19 to 16 PSI. First 45 minutes I made 4 passes and it only hooked once, on the second pass. Then I let the car sit for an hour and a half and made another pass. DA was still 1950 and it put up a 6.33. Next pass it spun. Last pass it hooked ok but then short shifted so the down track prep was definately going away. On that run I was heat soaked so it was not likely to improve anyways.

My power chiller was dripping condensation on the track late in the day when in the 90 degree ambient temperatures.
Causing me to spin.

Check the absorbent pad underneath the
Power chiller make sure it’s still there
Mine needed a replacement.

Normally doing the math from 1/8th to 1/4 you multiply by 1.55 or 1.56. My cars fall in that range. Yours is almost 1.57. Maybe it is falling off at the top. My best time in the Hellcat falls right in between 1.55-1.56 and others are 1.55. My best time ever in a different car was also 1.55

I add some rolling resistance
By lowering my fronts to 30 psi
To time my roll out at the light.

Rear tires are at 17 psi
Car is set up to ALWAYS dead hook
For ET bracket racing.

I run a half tank of gas
The added weight seems to keep the car
More consistent.

If you look at the log book
The page on the left shows my
60ft times from late in the day
When I spun off the condensation
From the power chiller.

At 5:10pm 1.55 60ft then at 5:39pm 1.50 60ft
Next morning @ 9:17am back to 1.45 60ft

One of my buying decisions to buy this particular Demon was that I had called the Concierge and discovered that the original owner nor any of the Dealerships that owned the car had ever ordered it. So, that means after I bought the car I got right on the phone and made it known I wanted to order the crate and I showed proof of ownership. Crate orders were on hold at the time. But today Kate called me and said that they had all the parts to put into the crates now and was ready to take my order.

She charged my credit card...........
