Half mile event in Arizona....

The premier half mile event in the south west is almost here! The Omega No Fly Zone is going to be on Sunday, October 13 in Gila Bend, Arizona. Gila Bend is off I-8 in Southern Arizona, about 100 miles south west of Phoenix. This event draws hundreds of the fastest exotics from California. Lambo’s, GTR’s, Porsche’s, Vettes, Vipers, and of coarse.... Hellcats! SRT AutoWorks will be bringing a bunch of Modded Hellcats and Trackhawks. I’ve lost track of how many, but probably a dozen or more. Mustangs run and hide. I have heard that there is a twin turbo Camero looking for me. WhipCat from Florida showed last year and we are hoping he can make it again with his dad. Anybody in the south west is invited for a great time and ride along in a 1000 hp Hellcat if you’re up to it. For those here who will be there.... post you car and let’s get the ball rolling.

Probably not going to be able to make this one either. Tiling the whole house. Maybe in the spring, my nephew wants to race me with his GTR. He is trying to get to 680 HP by then.

That’s too bad. From what I’m hearing this thing is going to be epic. The built Hellcats and track hawks are going to be there in force. I’m hearing that there is a street driven twin turbo Camaro that has been kicking some ass in Phoenix that needs to be dealt with. I’m going to have to give WhipCat a call and see if he’s going to make it. Apparently he hasn’t come over from the other forum yet.

There was a badass bike out there last time. Thing went 200 mph. I don’t doubt he’ll be back. That’s me lined up against the bike in the picture. I don’t know what it was but he ran 161 against me. Tell him there’s a Hellcat that says he can beat his ass. 😝 that’ll get him out there.

Joe’s Demonic Hellcat is going all the way to Barth for in-house tuning of his monster KB and back. Plans are to get it back and be there and running against me. WhipCat was there last year and said he’d be back. Come on Whip!! I know we’ve got a pulleyed e85 Redeye showing up. Who knows what that thing will do. At least one more Whippled Challenger out of the shop. Primetime’s 1000rwhp 426 just outta the shop will be there. There was a local twin turbo Camaro putting the wood to everybody on a midnight trip to Mexico recently. I heard he is going to be there. That could be interesting if he is. Big chest full of ice cold beer under the canopy with naked girls! How can you not be there!! 😝

But, my sons birthday is the 8th and then his party is the 12th.

Oh!!! And something I forgot to mention.... there is a huge event the following weekend in Phoenix. (Fridaynight/Saturday). It’s called Street Car Takeover. I have not been to that yet but will be staying over to participate this time. Besides the street activities, it moves to the track (Wild Horse Pass) on Saturday night and I understand that there will be both dig and roll racing on the quarter mile past midnight. The track is the old NHRA facility that used to be called Firebird Raceway. It has been renamed and now has a huge Indian Casino/Hotel right next to it. Looks like a nice place to stay. I’m going to guess that there may be some smack going around that ends up taking it to the track on Saturday night. 💪
