Enzo wasn't in attendance.
Fiat didn't beat Ford's offer or buy Ferrari until much later.
Shelby didn't take Ford for the ride in the GT.
Shelby didn't bet his company on the win.
The Ford exec never got locked in the office.
Ford engineers had a lot more to do with the development of the GT than they were given credit.

Thats typical for Hollywood - create the story so it fits what you want. The problem is they take it way to far and they get political or want to push an agenda or narrative that fits them... the movie was entertaining though.

Yep. Although Matt Damon did better at playing Shelby than I expected, a lesser known actor would have been more believable. Racing scenes were great (except for the drivers giving each other dirty looks while blasting down the straights). The rest was very Hollywood.

That's a good movie, Ford with a Dodge engine, awesome.

Damon is a good actor, I thought he was a good fit for shelby personality wise.

Maybe not so much from a physical standpoint.

I enjoyed the main story however and it was mostly on target. Obviously little details and plot add ons are for dramatic effect.
