So...after seeing the other site....terrible terrible. Were they on crack?

Anyway back in June i bought a 2016 Hellcat. Got married in Vegas last year had a SXT on hire fucking loved it. Always been a fan of yank cars, tried to buy a mustang when i was in Iraq in 2009 at the american dealer place on camp victory got told no :-( ended up doing tours in Afgan a few times to save nearly bought a 70s vette but didnt fit in the car being 6.5ft.

So here we are ...... bought my dream car for a 30th bday present to myself ahhaa

It got delayed because of storm Barry and the lorry had to cancel a few times due to flooding.

Its been on the Charleston express container boat and i have been tracking it for over a month haha

Its now sitting in felixstowe in the UK and i am waiting for it to clear customs. Paid the tax man last week. Then lights conversion and IVA test and UK reg doc. Hopefully end of September but we shall see

Extras include monkey brass wheels, sun roof and satin bonnet (hood to you guys)

If any UK guys want advise of how i did it let me know here to help.

Its a government test to make sure forgein cars comply with our regulations. Eg. Lights

Other news the car is ready for pickup by the lights company been released from customs since 4pm.

Yeah six weeks is a piss take, I think mine took that long ,they have to book an IVA test which have quite a long waiting list.

Car is being transported today from Kent to Norfolk. Think its about a 150 mile journey. 1 step closer to the finish line

when i get it it was cool tracking the boat mind. In total been delayed around 2 weeks. 10 days from storm barry and a few days from customs, all i was told was delays state side with paperwork. So not to bad really least the boat didnt sink

Definitely in the final countdown now as the next leg is me getting it

UPDATE

So car is now in Norfolk getting modifications on the lights and UK sat nav/radio this week. Further delay as the only test i can get..... IVA booked for 16th October hoping for a cancellation so can get it quicker

Been brought forward for the IVA test for the 9th now. 1 week better than 0 weeks, so lets hope for a cancellation

IVA done yesterday all good. MOT is today. Paperwork being sent today

Looking at 12 days now so i am going to pick it up on 25th or 26th
