You’ll have worse traction than the Stock P Zeroes. And we all know how awful those things are. I’d stay about the 280/35 size. You won’t be getting the low profile look you’re trying to achieve with 195s.

I think a P195/40-20 is more correctly called an "O-ring".

I know people have done it, but I don't recall the exact method.

Spacers is the short answer but becareful of stud length.

If I can do it without adding spacers, maybe I will go 285/40/20 ,I don't think anything is needed there. I just need confirmation someone has done this and what may be needed. I don't want to guess.
