Reasonable price for tire mounting?

Upon the suggestion of a few members, I picked up a set of billet specialties win lites and MT ET street Rs.

I called a few shops today get them mounted. Only one shop so far said they would do the touchless installation on tires that wide, but it would be $200 for mounting and balancing. Kinda made my jaw hit the floor. I mean 100 per tire to mount and balance??? Am I out of touch or is this price about right?

The guy I've used a few times charges me 25.00 per to mount a set of Nitto NT05r's on my 20x11 HR5 replicas. I think it's a pretty good deal and so far no wheel scars from the m&b.

Thats bullshit, I know a guy in annapolis that does road force balance. He has a 91mm turbo scatpack and knows his shit. Shoot me a PM.

That's way too high. There are plenty of tire shops that mount big tires on 22-24 inch and larger rims. Look around some more.

$20-$25 per tire is what I've seen in my area for m/b.

You can always try a place that does truck tires, but from what you're describing, it's not like your wheels/tires are gigantic.

I'll keep looking. You're right, they aren't gigantic. 17×10 wheels and 305/45-17 tires. I'm being fairly similar to quite few here. Haha.
