I have the cheap ryobi from HD, like 1700PSI, good enough for foam and washing, anything more is overkill. They only time I get my gas 3000PSI out is for under carriage cleaning before undercoat.
I normally stay away from Crapsman tools, but I picked up an electric pressure washer at Homo Depo since it was on sale ($80?). I actually have zero complaints with it. It works great with my foam cannon, and normal car washing activities. The foam cannon that came with it is garbage, so order a good one ( Chemical Guys ect). I also ordered a set of various different spray nozzles from Amazon, which makes it even better.
I bought one from Home Depot 6 years ago. 3000 psi Ryobi with a Honda 4 stroke. Was $300 back then.
Does everything I want it to do around the house and powerful enough to damage anything you use it on, including the concrete. The pressure is fully adjustable on the fly though, which is nice.
