New transmission with Diablo tune?

I am getting a new transmission. It has a Diablo tune in there for both the transmission and engine. With the new transmission I was wondering if it comes with a new TCM? If so what is the procedure to get the Barth transmission tune into the new transmission?

My understanding is the trans tune communicates to the TCM via the PCM. When I got my new transmission from Dave at D&B, I don’t believe he needed to load the tune but he did make some adjustments. The new trans had Demon valve body and Demon torque converter. I’m using HP Tuners.

I got a call from the dealer. The tcm was blank. They could not even get it to do a quick learn. I need to go there tomorrow and install the stock tune.

I just flashed it at the dealer with the barth transmission tune. So the only thing i get is a little flare between 1-2 and a push as I am about to stop. Must be the Demon Converter. Tim said I need to flash to stock and then send him the files where he will piggy back the old tune onto the new tcm. I think all will be ok.

The flare went away. I think it was the computer needed to learn that there was a demon converter in there.
